Classification of pecans by size

In order to satisfy the needs of our customers, providing them the most suitable pecan according to their needs, we have classified them according to sizes as follows, so you can choose the most convenient:

HALVES

Better known as “heart” or whole pecan. It is usually applied on the regional toffee candy and delicacies decoration, caramel covered pecans, caramel pecan rings, etc



As for the small pieces the variety is as follows (by size order from bigger to smaller):

 

LARGE PIECES

The size of the pieces it is approximately the half of halves. They are used in baking, regional delicacies, granola, sugar loaves, etc. depending on the sort of cakes or pastries you make

 

 

MEDIUM PIECES

It is used in the preparation of cake fillings, guava rolls, toffee, pecan ice-cream, etc.

 

 

SMALL MEDIUM PIECES

They are used in pecan pie filling, guava rolls, among others

 

 

SMALL PIECES

Commonly used in the yogurt ice-cream, baking as a general rule, etc

 

MIDGET #1

It is a very small piece, which is used in the decoration of donuts, cream and chocolate covered lollipops and toffee candy. Note: the chosen size; according to its destination; varies regarding the customers’ expectations.
